Liquid Parfum - Tabac NO.1
It’s taken me a little bit to get used to the strong scent, but I’m beginning to love it and all its notes
It’s not for everyone - but that’s one reason I love this smoky tobacco fragrance. I also layer with lighter fragrance to get a unique, exquisite smell. Highly recommend.
I wasn't expecting such a little bottle to deliver so much. Upon application, your nostrils are greeted with the Mediterranean pine. This scent accompanies the other woodsy notes of rosewood, cedar, juniper, and sandalwood. It's a soft, almost smokey scent that isn't overpowering. These flavors then develop into a softer floral that lasts for hours. My husband and I both wear it and it develops differently on both of us.
Where to start with French Girl Organics botanical perfumes in general... A clean parfum without any harmful chemicals or mysterious fragrances? Count me in! On top of that, this is an absolutely lovely scent. I would add the caveat that it might not be right for some, but it is certainly unique and mysterious. In my opinion, the most masculine of all the scents. At first, it is instantly recognizable, as its name suggests -- tobacco! But upon further wear, it melts into a maze of deep musk and spicy scotch, all rolled into one lovely little bottle. Tall, dark and handsome, oui! Merci beaucoup, French Girl! I will recommend these parfums to everyone I know!
It’s probably not for everyone, but I adore it. Smells like walking into Leavitt & Pearce, an old-fashioned tobacco shop that used to be in Harvard Square. It starts off smelling like scotch whisky, then sweet pipe tobacco, then ends with the beautiful sandalwood. Lasts only a couple hours, but that is to be expected with any essential oil fragrance.
